I haven't updated ANY of the August sub. boxes I've received, and I kinda like it that way. Ever since I decided last month that it wasn't important or urgent that I update a box as soon as I get it, It was more fun for me to actually enjoy the boxes as I get them, and then give a more thorough review. Instead of "This sounds interesting." or "It'll probably be good." I'll have more time to try out more stuff. And I still plan on making a I tried it section, so most stuff will find it's way there. I can say that this month I've got: Blissmo, UM Cheeky, Out of the Box Sampler Flip Flop Bodaciously Bigger Box, Yuzen Fall, Orange Glad, Conscious Box, Ambition Box, Love with Food, Dazzley Box, Bulu box, Taste Trunk, LootCrate, BarkBox, Bespoke Post, Escape Monthly, Goodies Co., and Pawalla Cat Mini senior age, so far. Lot's of reviews to catch up on, but I'm slowly enjoying them, and it's nice.
In vacation news, there won't be any vacation this year. Yay...not. It's always a major catastrophe when it's time to plan to go out of town. I'm glad I didn't make any reservations! We tried to use our water and discovered it was off. Okay, maybe there's a water main broken or something. We waited a few hours and called my mom who is next door, and she had water. OK, weird. Why Is mine out? We call the water company and come to find out they turned it off cause it was CRAZY high when they checked the meter! They cut it off as a precaution, since we didn't know about it. So we have upped the move in time for the house, no more leisurely working, we have to get it switched over from gas to electric, like, this week!

I went to the thrift shop a few weeks ago a found the PERFECT little makeup bag! I'm part of the Influenster Mary Kay Glamour Look Vox Box Campaign, and couldn't believe it when I found this BRAND-NEW Mary Kay makeup bag! It still had the paper wrapper around the cute tassel zipper. So cute. Even better, it was 50 cents!
In other boring news from my world, I'm pretty sure all the stuff I've found that we aren't going to use, that I've set aside for a future garage sale, won't all fit in the two car garage at the house. It's gonna be a overflow into the yard sale. :)
I found out last Thursday (8-22-13) that Pawalla is closing their Subscription Box Services! :( I liked the kitty boxes I was getting for Jack and Ham. Oh, well. It's not shocking, or surprising, to have a sub. box company suddenly halt their services. It's a tough business, I'm sure! Thankfully Jack only had three boxes left, and Ham only had one. And the e-mail that I received last Thursday said they would fulfill everyone's boxes all at once, whether they had two or eight months left in their sub.'s, they would send 'em all at once. Wow, fun. Glad we didn't have too many left! Also I got Jacks Senior age box at the regular time at the end of the month, so I assume the last two and Ham's last one will come all in a few weeks? We'll see. The box was, unfortunately the same one that Ham received a few weeks ago. (I'll have that review up soon, promise.)
I love the sub. boxes I get, but I'm just not interested in breaking down the price for a box. I do like that other bloggers do that, and it's interesting to see what the full prices are for some things. But I'm just happy that I get to try out all these great products, since most of these things aren't available locally for me!Really, I'm more interested in trying out the items and eventually giving my opinions on them. I plan on making a 'I Tried It' section sometime, just so I can give ya'll my opinion after the box reviews are up and I've had a chance to try out everything. I'm liking just about everything that's been sent my way via sub. boxes, and getting to try out all these different products is AWESOME! (FAR different than what I'm used to being able to buy around here, and if you don't know what to look for, the internet isn't very helpful. You can't just get on Amazon and get just one Soyjoy bar to try!)
If I had to pick 5 favorites of the sub. boxes I get, I would have to go with:
1. PopSugar Must Have.
2. Out Of The Box Sampler.
3. Yuzen.
4. Taste Trunk.
5. Conscious Box.
I thought I'd let ya'll in on what I've been listening to this Summer. I think by now everybody's seen that Blurred Lines Robin Thicke/Miley Cyrus VMA performance, but I'm surprised nobody's said anything about Robin's SWEET Beetlejuice suit! Nobody, nowhere saw past Miley's weird, attention-seeking, twerk dance, burying her face in that HUGE ladies butt, and noticed Robin Thicke's great suit. Lol, I did LOVE this picture comparison that's been floating around the internet between Miley's butt and a deflated chicken rear. LMFAO!

My Summer '13 Playlist:
'Blurred Lines' by Robin Thicke.
'I Love It' by Icona Pop.
'Radioactive' by Imagine Dragons.
'Still Counting' by Volbeat.
'Die Young' by Ke$ha.
'In This Moment' by Adrenalize.
'C'Mon ' by Ke$ha.
'Pound The Alarm' by Nicki Minaj.
'I Need Your Love' by Calvin Harris Feat. Ellie Goulding.
'Don't Stop The Party' by Pitbull Feat. TJR.
I've been a good mayor on Animal Crossing: New Leaf and have been playing everyday (ok, I did miss two days, but it wasn't in a row, so my neighbors weren't too disappointed by my absence!) My town is full of interesting characters, my favorite is definitely Octavian, the octopus guy! He doesn't have the preppy or sporty dialog, so we get along just fine. He's quirky like me! AJ finally made a character a few weeks ago and has been an active member of Westeros. :) Too bad there isn't enough spaces to have the neighbors say the house mottos like, "What's Dead May Never Die", or "Winter is Coming". But, still, my town is going great. :)
