- Rip Van Wafels Amsterdam Wafel from August (?) Love With Food.
These. Were. SO. GOOD! So, so good! I already ordered a box from Amazon (I would have bought these at Love With Food, but they were SOLD OUT!), and we've eaten them ALL! The caramel filling is perfectly sweet, while the wafels holding it together are almost crispy still, and so delicious. We have tried them over a hot drink, dipped in coffee, and just as a snack out of the package. There is no wrong way to eat these tasty treasures!
Verdict: LOVE!
Already bought, and devoured a whole box, so yeah, we do love them. :)
- Snapea Crisps Lightly Salted Pea snacks from August (?) Love With Food.
Delicious! I love peas, and AJ and I both LOVED these. The tiny snack size package didn't do those tasty pods justice. We needed more! We ordered more from Amazon (Again, sold out on Love With Food!) and have almost finished the whole box! They're crispy, perfectly salty, and taste just like fresh peas. I have the best memories of sitting over here where I live now, at my Nan-Nan's house, snapping peas! :) All afternoon long, buckets and pans full of picked pea pods turning into individual peas from our hard work to be put up in the freezer for us to enjoy later, I loved it!
Verdict: LOVE!
I've already bought a box from Amazon, and we're enjoying them still. I liked the Lightly Salted flavor so much, that I tried the Caesar flavor when I saw it at Wal-Mart. I really like it's tangy flavor! Snapea Crisps are a huge hit!
- Bic Soliel Bella Razor from KlutchClub May '13.
I've been using this razor since about mid June, and it's still got fresh blades and a soft moisture strip! The moisture strips don't usually last on the cheaper disposable razors I buy, so that's a plus. It is a somewhat bulky razor, but I like having something to hold onto to, so it's not too bulky I guess. I think I've tried this brand before, maybe a few years ago when they first put these out. The ones I tried were scented, and had a variety of scents, which by the way tasted bad. Lol, I sometimes hold the razor in my mouth (like a shaving pirate) and get more shaving cream, or to reposition or whatever, and when I popped that razor handle in my mouth, yuck. This Bic Soliel Bella razor isn't scented so it wasn't an unpleasant shock.
Verdict: LIKE.
I like it, and if I received more in sub. boxes I would use them again. But I'm not buying them.
- Eclos Daily Hydraprimer from KlutchClub May '13.
As soon as I squeezed some product out of this sample I didn't really like it. It's the color of mud and is kind of gritty. I applied enough to cover my face before applying makeup, and like most primers, it helped the foundation look better. But, I didn't like the way it felt, like I was rubbing mud on my face. Not for me.
Verdict: MEH.
I didn't like it. Just not for me, too gritty and thick.
- Enjoy Life Not Nuts Seed and fruit mix in Beach Bash from KlutchClub May '13.
I liked this a lot. I'm not allergic to nuts or anything, but I did enjoy that it was just seeds and fruit in this trail mix type snack. I looked for these at my local Walgreens, but they didn't have them. I haven't ordered any online, but may in the future.
Verdict: LIKE.
I liked it. Great mix of sunflower and pumpkin seeds, and fruit like pineapple, apricots and cranberries. Pretty good stuff. I'd buy these, I just haven't got online and ordered any yet.
- Kind Bar Madagascar Vanilla Almond from KlutchClub May '13.
I haven't tried any Kind Bars before I got this one in my first KlutchClub Womens box back in May. I love these! Such a great alternative to the bad for you snack bars! I actually feel like I've eaten something when I eat these! I went to Wal-Mart and got some other flavors to try. I really like the Dark Chocolate Cherry Kind Bars, I've got a couple of boxes since I tried them.
Verdict: LOVE.
Loved it. Have bought several boxes of different flavors, and liked them all.
- JJ's Sweet Sea Salt Cocomels from Yuzen Summer '13.
These were good. Chewy, delicious caramel, flavored with coconut milk, and with some sea salt in the middle! Great flavor combination, and the coconut milk gave it a yummy flavor. I really like chewy and gummy candies, so these were gone in no time!
Verdict: LIKE.
I liked these. But I don't think I'm going to buy any. If I see them locally (unlikely), I may pick some up, but I'm not searching them out online
- Level Naturals Shower Bomb.
Such a great idea! I've heard of bath bombs where you add it to your bathtub full of water and it fizzes and smells good. But I don't take tub baths, so I don't use them. But a shower bomb? Oh, yeah! I used them and only have 1 left! Love it! The menthol, eucalyptus and tea tree oil are a great combination and so refreshing! I feel so relaxed, calm, and happy when I treat myself to a shower bomb!
Verdict: LOVE.
I Love these! Definitely getting more when I'm out. At $7.99 (for the four pack) on the Level Naturals website, this is an awesome spa treat. It's also introduced me to the Level Naturals website and their full line of products. Cucumber Wasabi Cilantro Soy Candle anyone?
- PRITTE moisturizing body lotion from Yuzen Summer '13.
This lotion is awesome! I really love it and haven't gotten around to ordering more, yet. This has a great smell. Light and honeyed. It soothed my dry hands like no other lotion has, EVER! It's amazing how long the small sample bottle has lasted me May through July. I don't have to use it every day, like I would with other lotions. But when I do use it, oh, it's so soft and smooth.
Verdict: LOVE.
Love it and plan on buying more. It's $36. through their website, and it's more than worth it for the larger 8 oz. bottle, that'll last me for a long time. It's the only lotion I would want to buy now. Forget all those cheap non-organic lotions.
- Spa Ritual Multi-tasker base & topcoat in one and Emerald City nail lacquer from Yuzen Summer '13.
I ended up not liking this Spa Ritual polish. It was a problem applying a single coat, it was very spotty on the application, and required about 4 dips in the bottle for more polish just to finish one nail! I know it's a safer for you brand of nail polish, but it didn't even look that good when I finished applying the second coat. I ended up giving this to a friend to see if she liked it better than I did.
Verdict: MEH.
Didn't like. I'm not buying, or using Spa Ritural on purpose, again. This is the second bad experience with them and I'm just more of an OPI fan.
- Suki Sensitive Cleansing Bar from Yuzen Summer '13.
I don't use bar soaps, but decided to give this a try and I liked it a lot! It was a cleaner feeling than I get with the shower gels that I've been using for like, I don't know, 15 years. It smelled good, with oat flour and fair trade shea butter being the forerunner ingredients. It has a pleasantly soft, oat scent, with a citrusy background.
Verdict: LIKE.
I liked this soap bar a lot and may buy it again in the future, after we are completely moved, and settled in the house. I don't have the room to buy anything extra right now. I like that I get samples sizes of things through sub. boxes, so maybe I'll get another sample bar of this sometime.
- Suki Luscious Lips Berry Cream Trio from Yuzen Summer '13.
This was ok. I liked the colors, and the lip repair butter made my lips feel soft and it definitely helped the colored gloss go on smooth.
Verdict: MEH.
I liked the cute small container, and the colors were pretty, but I don't plan on buying more when this runs out. I think the small size I got in the Yuzen box was the full size, and it's $31.95! It was good to get in a box, to try out, but I wouldn't buy it
- Beanfield's Bean and rice Pico De Gallo Chips from Blissmo May '13.
These were yummy! They tasted like a tortilla chip, dipped in bean dip, dipped in salsa. They were flavorful, and filling.
Verdict: LIKE.
I liked them, and if I saw them for sale around here I would definitely pick some up.
- Ginny Bakes Chocolate chip oatmeal cookie Blissmo May '13.
I liked this. I'm biased though, because I like all oatmeal cookies, and chocolate chip cookies, so this was an instant, "Yeah, I'm eating this now." kind of moment when I got done with the pics for it. Pretty good stuff, not chewy, but not crunchy, kind of in between.
Verdict: LIKE.
I liked these, but I don't plan on buying any. I'd happily eat more if sent in another sub. box though! :)
- Halfpops natural butter and pure ocean sea salt air-popped popcorn from Blissmo May '13.
These were yummy and a great snack for me! I've always been that weird person that eats the crunchy kernels in the bottom of the bag. But nothing is worse that getting one of those rock hard kernels and chomping down. Ouchies. But this whole bag didn't have a single tooth chipper, they were all crunchy and delicious. Perfectly Half-popped!
Verdict: LOVE.
These were delicious, and I liked them a lot! I plan on buying more of this flavor and the white cheddar flavor sometime soon! So yummy.
- Raw Revolution Chocolate crave bar from Blissmo May '13.
I didn't really like this dense, almost waxy, chocolate nut bar. My stomach didn't agree as soon as I swallowed the first bite. I gave it two more nibbles, and couldn't stand anymore.
Verdict: MEH.
Didn't like it at all. Too dense and waxy. Wouldn't buy it, and if I received more, I would give them away.
- Molly Muriel Soft as Silk shampoo bar from Conscious Box June '13.
Verdict: LIKE.
I would use it again, but wouldn't buy it.
- Molly Muriel Volcanic bar from Conscious Box June '13.
This was a slightly rough, earthy soap bar. It felt good, and smelled very earthy and natural. It was an interesting switchup to my normal shower routine. I liked how the volcanic bits scrubbed away my rough dead skin, while the softness of the sudsy soap made it a bearable scrubbing. I don't like the really rough volcanic rock "soaps", so I was surprised how nice this one was.
Verdict: LIKE.
I would use this earthy soap bar again, but probably wouldn't buy it. *I got a full size bar of this recently in the Escape Monthly Oregon Box.
- Natures Baby Organics shampoo and bodywash Vanilla Tangerine from Conscious Box June '13.
I used this as a bodywash and enjoyed the fruity tangerine and soft warm vanilla scent. It wasn't very sudsy, but it didn't take very much to completely cover me. The pleasant scent would be great for kids, and it smelled good on my for hours after my shower.
Verdict: LIKE.
I would use this again if I received it in another sub. box, but I wouldn't buy it unless I have kids. Maybe in the future when we have kids, I'll buy it.
- Organic Flavrz Drink Mixes.
I've received these in several sub. boxes, so it's a good thing I like them. I've got to try all the flavors of the Flavrz and I don't have a favorite, because they're all good. The Boost Citrus Hibiscus Immunity Drink, The Revive Superfruits Sports Drink, and The Energize Fruit Punch Drink are all three good. I like how it wakes up the plain old bottled water into a lightly flavored drink. Also I like how it's not a heavy, syrupy liquid.
Verdict: LOVE.
I love these and so far haven't had to buy any since I've got them in about 5 different sub. boxes so far! But in the future when my supply is dried up, I will probably order more.
- Sneakz organic yummy veggie nutrition chocolate milkshake from Conscious Box June '13.
These tasted ok, but I could definitely taste the veggie mix they added, which was chalky. It tasted like a chocolate milkshake, but with a health-food type powder mix added in. These would be great for kids who haven't tried much else, and won't compare it to something better.
Verdict: MEH.
I wouldn't buy these for myself, but may try these out on our kids in the future when we have some.
- Lays Stax Que Rico chips from Goodies Co June '13
These were good, mildly salsa flavored Pringles-like chips.
Verdict: MEH.
Ok, but I don't think I would buy more.
- Pastitas black pepper onion pasta chips from Goodies Co June '13.
These were like tough, dry, un-flavored pieces of dry pasta. Oh wait, that's what they were. Well OK, after you were done chewing, they had a mild pepper after-taste.
Verdict: MEH.
I didn't like them, and wouldn't buy them. If I got more, I'll give
them to Mama or my brother.
- Pringles Cheese Stix from Goodies Co June '13.
Verdict: LOVE.
Loved and want to buy more. I thought I saw some locally, but haven't been able to track them down, yet.
- Happy squeeze Strawberry-kiwi-beet twist from KlutchClub Womens June '13.
Verdict: MEH.
I didn't like this specific flavor, but I'm interested to see other flavors and varieties from this brand.
- Pop Potato chips in Onion & Garlic from KlutchClub Womens June '13.
Verdict: LOVE.
I would absolutely buy more of these! Loved the flavor and texture, but I wish I had a bigger bag! ;D
- Tea of a kind peach ginger tea from KlutchClub Womens June '13.
The plastic bottle was cute, and the infusion cap was cool, but I didn't enjoy the flavor very much. I would be interested to see what other flavors they have
Verdict: MEH.
Not for me. I'm not sure if it was the specific variety of tea, or the ginger that I didn't like.
- Think Thin Chunky Peanut Butter Protein Bar from KlutchClub Womens June '13.
This was like a thick, soft, Butterfinger. Yummy. I enjoyed it and liked the nutritional values.
Verdict: LIKE.
Liked this. I found another flavor to try at Target, so it's nice to know that these can be found locally.
- GoOrganic hard candies from Love with Food June '13 .
I love hard candy, so I already liked these. But when I tasted the Blood Orange I was in love. Uh, YUM!!! The Apple flavor was just as good!
Verdict: LOVE.
Loved and want to buy more! The flavors were delicious, and I like that they are Organic.
- Organic Surf Sweets fruity bears from Love with Food June '13.
These were pretty good, and had an interesting texture from the sugar coating. They weren't shaped like bears though. Just delicious, sugar coated rectangles.
Verdict: LIKE.
These were good, I may buy more when I'm craving a crunchy, gummy candy.
- PUR pomegranate mint gum Love with Food June '13.
I like chewing gum, so I was excited to try this new (to me) pomegranate gum. It was delicious, for about 2 minutes, then it turns into a tough little wad, that isn't pomegranate flavored anymore. I liked it, it makes a nice instant refresher kind of gum, to be disposed of soon after.
Verdict: LIKE.
I liked it while it lasted. I'm not sure if I would buy this, unless I saw it locally.
- Seaweed Love roasted seaweed from Love with Food June '13.
This was an interesting, slightly salty, oceany flavored snack. I put a strip on top of my steamed Japanese White Rice (InnovAsian in the freezer isle at Wal-Mart), and it was GREAT! Such a nice addition, and there were several strips in the package.
Verdict: LIKE.
I liked this, but I don't think I would go out of my way to order any. I got a different brand of Honey-Dijon flavored ones, and I haven't tried them yet, but they should be an interesting addition.
- Smooze Coconut + Mango fruit ice from Love with Food June '13.
I loved this. It was the perfect cold, sweet, fruity treat. I liked the summery coconut and mango combination, like I'm drinking a frozen drink out of a coconut on the beach somewhere!
Verdict: LOVE.
Loved it! I plan on buying more when we get the fridge and stuff moved over to the house. No new freezer food until the move! But these WILL be a staple in the near future.
- Soyjoy Mango Coconut soy and fruit bar from Love with Food June '13.
I got to try a few bites of this when AJ ate it and it was pretty good. He liked it enough for us to go on a quest to find them locally. But alas, we still haven't found them! *I finally broke down and bought some Strawberry, and some Blueberry ones from Amazon. They were good too!
Verdict: LIKE.
Good, but I don't want to have to order them online. But I will if we can't find any soon.
- Turbana Sweet Plantain chips from Love with Food June '13.
These were plain, dry, and almost tasteless. Just a slight hint of banana (the plantain), these weren't that good by themselves. I bet they would be better with a peanut butter and jelly (or Banana) sandwich.
Verdict: MEH.
I didn't like them. I won't be buying any.
- Juice Beauty Mouisturizer from PopSugar Must Have June '13.
I love this! It has such a pleasant apple scent, and it moisturizes like nobody's business! I couldn't believe how soft and moisturized my face and neck felt the next morning (AND afternoon!) after applying it the night before bed, after my shower. I like the unique bottle and applicator. You push a button on top to dispense some, also on top. It's nice for applying while holding in one hand, and using the other to spread it on.
Verdict: LOVE.
I love it! It's something I plan on buying when I run out of the awesome full size bottle I received.
- Project 7 mints from PopSugar Must Have June '13.
Verdict: LIKE.
They were good and minty, and support good causes, so I like them. Also I can get them locally, so I'll start getting them after I run out of this tube.
- Pur-Lisse Pur-Delicate Gentle Soy milk Cleanser and makeup remover from FabFitFun Summer Box.
This was a gentle, light scented cleanser that left my face feeling soft, mild and clean. It wasn't tingly, or tightening during or afterward, which I liked. I don't like that tingly, crawling feeling on my face! Also it removed makeup fine.
Verdict: LIKE.
Like, but not enough to buy. Would use again if received.
- Celcius Outrageous Orange Drink Mix from Bulu Box Weight Loss August '13 box.
Verdict: LIKE.
I liked this, and would use it again if I got it. I'm not sure if I would buy it or not though.
